On July 26, Brian Burton, of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, will compete in Ironman USA in Lake Placid, NY. The goal is not only to finish, but also make a positive difference in the lives of others. Brian is competing in the Janus Charity Challenge, a program rewarding the top 50 fundraisers at each Ironman race with additional donations to their charity, totaling more than $375,000 each year. The top award at Ironman USA being $10,000.
Brian is also using this race as an opportunity to raise money on behalf of Greg and Linda Marcus, the co-chairs of this year’s American Heart Association Milwaukee Heart Ball. In tough times, without our support, incredible organizations suffer. The Marcus Foundation has welcomed the responsibility and agreed to match your contributions up to a total of $3000.
