Milwaukee, Wis., May 24, 2013 –InterContinental® Milwaukee, which is owned and managed by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, today will reopen ‘The Patio,’ an outdoor space along Water Street, which features lounge seating, food and beverage service, and live music.
The Patio, which will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m., has been expanded this year to seat 65, and will feature comfortable lounge seating. It will serve Kil@wat’s menu from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., featuring dishes like the Classic Big Boy and the Salmon Salad with Bacon Dressing. From 2:00 p.m. – midnight, it will serve food from CLEAR Bar & Lounge, offering everything from Flatbread to Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. Patio diners can order from the full bar menu, including beer, wine, and signature cocktails, like Pear Affair or the Mule Kick.
“During summer in Wisconsin, patios are the place to be,” said Tim Smith, general manager of InterContinental Milwaukee. “We’ve taken our outdoor space one step further this year with even more seating and a new, more comfortable layout. It’s the perfect location to relax, enjoy the weather, and grab a bite or a cold drink.
The Patio also will feature performances by local musicians from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. each Saturday. The full line-up of performances follows:
