Holidays will light up Lake Geneva
The holiday season is quickly approaching and Lake Geneva welcomes visitors with festive offerings guaranteed to make holiday magic happen. Make your holiday season a memorable and magical time with these events.
Christmas in the Country
The Grand Geneva Resort will kick off its annual six-week Christmas in the Country celebration at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 20. The resort will flip the switch on more than 2 million lights throughout the property, and follow it up with a grand fireworks display. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to United Way of Walworth County. Activities begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom, Evergreen Ballroom and the lobby. Photos with Santa begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Evergreen Ballroom.
Raffles will take place to support United Way of Walworth County.

Craft Fair at the museum
The Geneva Lake Museum hosts a craft fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 26. Admission is free for this fair featuring the wares of area crafters in a unique setting. The museum is located at 255 Mill St., Lake Geneva. Call 262-248-6060 for more.
Santa cruise for a cause
Start a new holiday tradition aboard the Santa Cruise, held Nov. 26 through Dec. 31. The entire family will be enchanted with the twinkling lights and displays along the shoreline of Geneva Lake during a ride to the North Pole to see Santa Claus. All boats are heated and a portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Santa Cause that supports local charities. Tickets at 262-248-6206, CruiseLakeGeneva.com.
